I will be starting my Doctor of Physical Therapy program at University of the Pacific, where I hope to have an active role in continuing to serve my community. As a physical therapist, I wish to combat against health disparities, specifically in areas of need.
This scholarship will allow me to focus on my education and put all my energy into doing well in my studies by helping alleviate my financial burden. Yours and the council’s generosity will help turn my dream into a reality. Thank you again for your willingness to help me towards my goal.
I’m an incoming freshman at USC. My current plans for the future are to hopefully land an internship and to simply enjoy my first year of college. I’m looking forward to involving myself with clubs, organizations, and everything else that my university has to offer! I’m majoring in astronautical engineering and later down the road my dreams are to work for NASA or SpaceX as an engineer. Thank you!
I am very privileged and grateful to have received this award. This award will help me further my studies and focus on what is most important to me. This past semester I worked and studied both full time to pay for my upcoming second year at SDSU, so this extra aid definitely lifted a financial burden off my shoulders. Thank you so much!
I want to get my California teachers credentials and a bachelor’s degree in either English or World History. I plan to minor in Social Sciences or Political Science. I’d like to jump into teaching, probably as a teacher’s assistant in high school for the first year to really get a feel for what the other side of the classroom looks like.
